Interior Design Project Manager

JD Ireland Interior Architecture + Design is seeking a full-time, in-person, Project Manager to support our Lead Designer and design team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in project coordination, client communication, and design documentation. Key Responsibilities Include: • Support lead design team through the design process from concept through installation • Conducting site verification • Drafting plans, elevations, and construction details • Coordinating with vendors, craftspeople, and contractors • Preparing work orders, request and receive estimates and quotes from design showrooms, workrooms, and vendors • Coordinate and maintain FF&E schedules and internal Design Plan • Prepare proposals and pricing estimates for client consideration • Prepare formal Proposals and POs for client and vendor orders • Maintain vendor, client, and internal team member relationships by communicating and resolving issues proactively and professionally • Attending client meetings, taking notes • Maintaining organized notes and status for internal and external use • Tracking and maintaining status updates on the design plan • Visiting job sites to monitor progress • Receiving and inspecting goods and overseeing installations • Maintaining consistent communication with clients and internal team members throughout the project Experience and Education Requirements: • 2 or 4 year degree in interior design, architecture or related field • AutoCAD proficiency, drafting required • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required • Proficiency in Studio Designer software a plus • Proficiency in Photoshop software a plus Qualifications and Requirements: • 1-2 years of previous interior design experience • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of interior design • Follow instructions, office and project processes to perform the functions of the job • Able to work independently and proactively on projects without supervision • Demonstrate a commitment to quality, strong attention to detail, and excellent follow-through • Exhibit the ability to assist with multiple projects in different stages of development and prioritize tasks accordingly • Display strong interpersonal skills and collaborative team mindset • Works well under pressure; able to multi-task, prioritize, and consistently meet deadlines • Able to follow through on multiple projects with both short-term and long-term objectives • Able to travel for site reviews, field surveys, and meeting attendance • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment balancing multiple priorities • Strong communication with the team to collaborate and resolve any issues as they arise
