Interior Design Project Manager

📍 Greater Nashville Area | Middle Tennessee

SBS has been retained by a growing luxury residential interior design firm to identify a highly organized, client-focused Project Manager to support custom home and residential interior design projects throughout Middle Tennessee.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a creative, fast-paced environment and has a passion for bringing beautiful homes to life. You'll work closely with clients, contractors, architects, vendors, and the design team to ensure projects are executed seamlessly from concept through installation.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a Part-Time 1099 Contractor role supporting luxury residential design projects throughout the Greater Nashville area.

Schedule:

• Approximately 20–30 hours per week

• Typically 4–5 hours per day depending on project demands

• Monday–Friday schedule

• Occasional weekend availability required

Travel Requirements:

• Frequent travel throughout Middle Tennessee

• Multiple project site visits may be required daily

• Reliable transportation is required

• Candidate must be comfortable working in client homes, construction sites, showrooms, and vendor locations

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Manage multiple luxury residential design and construction projects simultaneously

• Coordinate project timelines, schedules, installations, and project milestones

• Serve as a key point of contact between clients, contractors, architects, vendors, and the design team

• Attend site visits, project meetings, installations, and walkthroughs

• Track project selections, procurement activities, deliveries, and lead times

• Maintain project documentation, budgets, invoices, and spreadsheets

• Coordinate with builders and trade partners to ensure design intent is executed successfully

• Manage ordering logistics, returns, damages, and vendor communication

• Deliver an organized, high-touch experience for clients throughout the project lifecycle

• Support ongoing improvements to project management systems and internal processes
