Interior Design Project Manager | Multifamily

We are actively recruiting an Interior Design Project Manager to join our collaborative and innovative firm to support our Multifamily Practice in our Dallas office. Our ideal design project manager is highly motivated, a capable leader, and is seeking progressively more responsibilities and assignments on a variety of projects. Qualified Project Interior Designers already exhibit these strengths and talents: • Degree from a CIDA accredited Interior Design program or equivalent • 10+ years of experience in commercial design; 5+ year of Multifamily experience required • Professional registration • Display strong design portfolio showing strengths in conceptual design, space planning skills and detailing • Demonstrated skills in developing design schemes and coordinating design teams • High commitment to QA/QC • Revit proficiency and technical excellence • Thorough understanding of how a drawing set goes together • Acumen for how things are built and constructability, and the ability to apply that knowledge to support the project design and budget • Knows how to research and document codes for specific projects • Experience managing a variety of consultants and contractors • Interest in sustainable design • Effective organizational and communication skills • Strong attention to detail • Flexible attitude • Proficiency or experience with managing overall project fees and schedules • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage client and team relationships including overall work plan development and sub-consultant coordination efforts • Successful record of pursuing new projects through business development, marketing, and client satisfaction • Confident presentation ability • Potential travel opportunities
