Interior Design Sales

We are looking for a Specification Representative to be responsible for promoting and driving demand for decorative products across both commercial and residential markets. This role focuses on building relationships with the architecture and design community to secure product specifications and ultimately increase revenue. Degree, diploma or certificate in interior design from a recognized post-secondary institution is preferred.Interaction with other brands' sales team and industry/vendor specification repsKeep abreast of specification market intelligence including product/trend development and new product introductions design experience would be an asset.Specification experience would be an asset.General understanding of the different channels to market.A recognition and ability to manage/track potentially long sales cycles.An established network of contacts, specifically with architects, designers, builders, retail chains, would be an asset.Excellent communication, time management, organizational, planning, and presentation skills (small and larger groups).Able to create and modify Power Point presentations.CRM knowledge a plus.Ability and willingness to travel (including overnight) as needed.
