Del Bosque Natural Stone is a family-owned natural stone company specializing in custom architectural stone and premium materials for residential and commercial projects. We work with homeowners, interior designers, builders, architects, and contractors throughout San Antonio and surrounding areas.
We are looking for a motivated and personable Part-Time Interior Design & Sales Associate to join our showroom team.
This is a great opportunity for someone interested in interior design, sales, or building materials who wants hands-on experience working directly with clients and real projects.
Previous experience is preferred, but we are also open to candidates who are eager to learn, proactive, and comfortable working with customers.
Responsibilities
Welcome and assist walk-in clients at our showroom.
Help clients select materials and finishes for their projects.
Provide guidance on natural stone, tile, countertops, fireplaces, flooring, and other products.
Understand customers' project needs, style preferences, and budgets to recommend appropriate options.
Follow up with customers, leads, estimates, and potential projects.
Answer occasional incoming phone calls and customer inquiries.
Actively seek new business opportunities and prospective clients.
Reach out to local professionals and businesses to introduce our company and products.
Help establish new trade and contractor accounts.
Maintain and organize showroom samples, displays, labels, and product materials.
Assist with general showroom tasks as needed.
Learn our product lines, materials, finishes, and custom fabrication capabilities.
What We're Looking For
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Background or interest in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction, Sales, or a related field.
Customer service or sales experience is preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable speaking with customers both in person and over the phone.
Good eye for design, colors, materials, and finishes.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Self-motivated and willing to take initiative.
Comfortable reaching out to prospective clients and developing new business.
Willingness to learn about natural stone and the construction/design industry.
Basic computer skills.
Compensation
$18.00 per hour + commission on material sales generated by the employee.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
