Interior Designer

We are conducting a Nationwide search for a highly experienced Residential Interior Designer for a role in Arizona. Please note this role is based in Scottsdale, AZ. Due to the high level of collaboration needed on projects, this role is an in-office position ONLY. • Create/develop bid scopes • Develop interior palettes of flooring, hard surfaces, and wall finishes • Assist in budgeting and cost estimating for interior design elements, ensuring projects remain financially viable • Provide value engineering options in line with the design vision • Create and update spec sheets • Obtain pricing and quotes from vendors • Review and redline drawing packages for design intent and code compliance • Collaborate with team to create and execute design packages through construction administration • Lead and attend design meetings • Manage all project documentation • Oversee the installation and execution of design elements • Demonstrate strong knowledge of a wide range of architectural and interior design principles in creating a design plan • Strong knowledge of construction interior design drawing packages including finish plans and material specifications, schedules, RCP, and electrical plans • Strong knowledge of ADA and life safety codes • Ability to coordinate with product vendors • Strong knowledge of space planning and design methodology • Strong knowledge of the application of color, materials and aesthetic form • Strong knowledge of furniture specification, including window treatments and installation
