You have: Expertise in Interior Design (minimum 15 years) Expertise in designing contemporary single-family residential interiors for high-end clients Experience managing an Interior Design department and coordinating with other designers to efficiently... deliver high-quality service and product to a discerning clientele. High level of proficiency in SketchUp, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Excel Proficiency in Revit is preferred Experience in coordinating consultants and vendors You are: Detail-oriented, organized, with strong technical skills Highly self-motivated, and creative thinker Fun, sharp, enthusiastic, with strong communication skills Committed to quality and client satisfaction Someone who has a pride of authorship You enjoy: Identifying problems and working with others to find creative solutions Working independently, collaboratively, and efficiently to meet deadlines Multi-tasking and maintaining focus on a portfolio of projects Learning and identifying new and innovative products that can be integrated into our projects THE JOB Join our growing team to further develop a complete set of systematized interior design services for our high-end clients Client-facing role, guiding them through the process of designing the interiors of their custom home Research, analyze and advise on detailed specifications, industry/local standards, materials, and processes, to grow our highly curated series of selections for our discerning clientele Challenge the status quo and act as a change agent for continuous improvement Coordinate and maintain lasting relationships with colleagues, clients, manufacturers, consultants, builders, vendors, and local regulatory officials A typical day with us: Oversee a team of designers to prepare, review, and present interior design layouts to clients, using 3D SketchUp models, and Revit-generated interior elevations and reflected ceiling plans, via online screen share meeting, including tile and plumbing fixture layouts, lighting design, cabinetry design, furniture layouts and specifications, etc. Oversee creation and present mood and material boards Work with project team to develop appropriate solutions for each individual client, while keeping track of the budget, schedule, and coordinating vendors and installers Create, critique, revise, and manage the implementation of protocols geared toward further systematizing the process by which the Interiors Department coordinates with the rest of the Turkel Design team to execute functional and stunning interiors Participate in a collaborative studio culture in an easily commutable office currently in South Boston with plans to move to the Tufts/Davis Square neighborhood in the near future THE PERKS 401(k) plan with employer matching Employer subsidy of health insurance Easily commutable office in an urban neighborhood Hybrid working arrangement THE APPLICATION Cover letter Resume Work samples / portfolio (digital files only) Salary expectation Job Type: Full-time Pay: $110,000.
