The purpose of this position is to create an interior environment that promotes the health and welfare of Veteran, employees and the general public in an efficient and cost-effective manner. The major duties listed below represent the full performance level of GS-11. Promotion is at the discretion of the supervisor and is contingent upon satisfactory performance, availability of higher level work, and availability of funds. • Plans, specifies, writes procurement packages, supervises installation, and acts as the contracting officer's representative for furniture procurements within the facility. • Coordinates and maintains a schedule of short- and long-range interior improvement projects for the facility through the 5-year interior design plan and other programs to identify existing and future project needs.
