Interior Designer

You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of residential projects, and collaborating with the senior designer, contractors and... vendors to bring the clients' visions to life. This is a hybrid position combining remote work with project and client meetings located on site at the company office, at vendor showrooms, and project sites. • Selecting and specifying design components for projects, to include furniture, fixtures, equipment, lighting, finishes, textiles, art, and accessories • Assisting with client installations and styling completed projects for client reveals and photoshoots • Oversee the installation process and make any necessary adjustments or modifications • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in interior design and incorporate them into your work • Additional duties as assigned Experience: • Professional and/or educational background in interior design • Strong design sense and experience completing design projects in an educational and/or work setting • Prior experience working in a professional environment • Consummate customer service skills and a high level of professionalism and reliability • Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Proficiency in interior design software such as Chief Architect, AutoCAD and/or Sketch Up • Experience creating computer renderings for interior design projects • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point and Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and/or other Adobe Creative Suite programs • Knowledge of building codes and regulations Work Location: Hybrid remote in Chevy Chase, MD 20815
