Office of BC is a Los Angeles based multi-disciplinary design firm seeking an Interior Designer to join our small team. As the Interior Designer, you will work closely with the principal designer on all phases of design projects from concept through installation. The ideal candidate must be highly creative and have a minimum of 3 years of interior design firm experience, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask. Applicants must work well in a collaborative environment as well as be a self-starter willing to take initiative on a diverse range of tasks. Responsibilities will include: - Research and development in conceptual phase - Sourcing and specifying furniture, fixtures, equipment and materials - Updating and managing FF&E schedules, budgets, and timelines - Purchasing and procurement of FF&E - Space planning, drafting furniture plans and custom furniture in AutoCAD - Assist in preparing client presentations and... tearsheets - Managing scheduling and coordination of all trades and vendors for installations and project progression - Keep clear and accessible records of all correspondence and meetings - Building and maintaining an organized and comprehensive material library - Site visits, workroom check-ins, showroom visits, and occasional misc.
