Interior Designer

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Designer at Dwelling Designs in Minneapolis, MN. In addition to being a gifted designer, this candidate must be an excellent communicator and have the ability to collaborate with builders, vendors, and architects. Responsibilities include: • Must be able to get off the ground immediately creating attractive residential designs and layouts with a focus on contemporary and modern design • Working in AutoCAD and creating technical drawings • Working in Sketchup and creating 3D drawings • Maintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevant, including the latest and greatest in FFE • Putting together thoughtful mood boards • Note taking The most qualified candidates will have the following skills and background: • Strong skills in residential space planning, communications, and construction drawings.
