Reporting to the Lead Interior Designer, the Interior Designer is responsible for coordination of furniture orders with MCE from design concept development through installation for campus buildings and infrastructure projects, generally under $5M. This position is expected to provide weekly reports to the interior design team regarding order status and maintain related project documentation. Facilities Management (FM) supports the University of Maryland in its mission of achieving excellence as the State’s primary center of research and graduate education and the institution of choice for undergraduate students of exceptional ability and promise. We are responsible for the physical campus – its academic, research and administrative spaces, the building infrastructure, and the surrounding landscape.
