Interior Designer

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Leads the pursuit of new client relationships and projects, focusing on the company's ability to produce and manage the homeowner's project • Generate concept design, schematic design, design development packages, the scope of work, and construction documents while being mindful of accurate drawing packages, design integrity, and code compliance. • Ability to problem-solve and provide creative solutions to client expectations • Conduct on-site meetings with the internal team, trade partners, and clients. Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Architecture with 2+ years experience • Residential interior remodeling experience • Solid knowledge of building materials and finishes • Proficiency in principles of space planning and design • Basic knowledge of residential building codes • Working knowledge of Chief Architect or similar program with the ability to learn quickly • Have experience with BuilderTrend software or similar program • Have 2 years experience with selling of residential remodeling projects • Great attention to detail • Effective communication, organizational, and time-management skills • Individuals should be self-motivated and focused to meet client expectations and deadlines under limited supervision Experience: • Project leadership: 2 years (Preferred) • Chief Architect Software: 2 years (Required) • Interior design: 2 years (Required)
