Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or related field • Experience in using floor and space planning applications • Knowledgeable of general principles of home decor and design (i.e., furniture, carpet, draperies, and color schemes) • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and build rapport • Ability to effectively manage time and conflicting priorities • Ability to work effectively and productively with others as a team • Ability to work the schedule and hours dictated by business needs • Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required • Strong attention to detail Education and Experience: • A four year Interior Design degree from an accredited institution is required • The Design Associate must have a broad knowledge as an Interior Designer • Must have proficiency in CAD programs such as AutoCAD or Vectorworks
