Interior Designer

Interior Designer – Residential/Commercial/Hospitality We are expanding. Small boutique firm seeking Interior Designers with 3+ years of experience to work on projects both locally and out-of-state. The ideal candidate will be passionate about design with a strong analytical mindset and a natural self- starter who can meet deadlines. Employment Type Contract Hourly – Flexible hours/days 16-40 hours per week Work Requirements • Work with client to prepare scope of work • Site measures • Prepare plan of Elevation drawings in CAD • Research products • Work within budget • Select finishes • Prepare spreadsheets + PowerPoint presentations • Communicate with vendors and showrooms (quotes/order tracking) • Purchase finishes • Produce material specification documents • Review technical drawing including shop drawings • Track purchases • Oversee site installations Qualifications • 3+ years’ experience in interior design • Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field preferable • Experience with AutoCAD and SketchUp software required • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) • High attention to detail and strong organizational ability • Knowledge of high-end showrooms and product lines • Able to be a self-starter and problem solve with limited supervisor direction • Excellent presentation and communication skills • Maintaining a high level of confidentiality • Ability to work well with others in a team and provide support as needed • Valid driver’s license We Offer: • Flexible hours • Hourly wage depending on experience • Ability to work from home • Mileage reimbursement Please reply to this job posting with: • Complete resume with cover letter • Available starting date House & Home, Winnetka, IL
