Interior Designer

Our Chicago Office is seeking a collaborative, highly motivated Interior Designer who is willing to take on a leadership role and continue to grow with the firm. Duties will include: • Collaborate with project teams during all phases of the design process to develop the interior design for a variety of project types • Work with the Design Director on the development of interior design... presentations including digital renderings and models • Development of construction documents with minimal guidance • Review and process submittals and answer RFI's during the construction administration phase of projects • Assist with the selection and specification of FF&E, interior finishes, and lighting systems • Minimum 8 years of experience • Higher Education / Public Sector project experience required • NCIDQ licensure preferred • Ability to generate designs and develop Sketch Up Models / Renderings utilizing Enscape • Ability to work in Revit • Product Research & Material Selections for Specification • Finish Plan Documentation • Interior Elevation Documentation • Ceiling Plans & Ceiling Details Documentation • Custom Millwork Design and Detail Documentation • Lighting Selection / Design (Coordination with Engineers) • Programming through Procurement (working with Clients and Dealers) • FFE products and finishes sections & documentation for dealers to provide quotes for review • Cost estimating • Experience presenting to clients
