Interior Designer

Eleven Interiors is looking for an Interior Designer to join our luxury residential design firm located in the South End of Boston. The ideal candidate is a creative and energetic team player, with a minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience as an interior designer in a residential interior design firm. The position entails: • Assist the Senior Designer in managing multiple projects and... deadlines of various sizes, from conception to completion • Assist the Senior Designer with project construction process to ensure that project deadlines are being met • Source new products, vendors, and inspiration for the design team to use during projects • Develop detailed design concepts and provide programming and space planning analysis • Demonstrate understanding of the architectural design process and integration of interior design concepts • Perform field measurements and verification with Design Assistant • Prepare design presentation packages using Microsoft PowerPoint • Develop space plans/schematic designs using Archicad (training provided) • Prepare floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, millwork design drawings, and furniture layouts • Create construction documents and specifications • Demonstrate strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills • Possess technical proficiency in building construction, techniques and materials • Participate in project administration: Proposals, Purchase Orders and Invoices • Coordinate and oversee installations and deliveries • Strong design, visualization, and communication skills • Detail oriented, team oriented and self-motivated • Problem-solving skills • Organization and time management skills • Email resume and portfolio to info@eleveninteriors.com
