Interior Designer

An established high-end interior design firm seeks talented, experienced, creative and motivated candidates for an Interior Designer position. The candidate will collaborate with one of the firm’s Senior Designers on the creation and implementation of interior schemes for projects throughout all phases of the design process from concept through construction, drafting, administration to completion including the coordination of interior fixtures, finishes, furnishings and fabrics. Candidates should have a minimum of 2-3 years relevant work experience. + Interior Designer, residential design focused + Hands-on contact with clients and vendors, project management from start to finish (design to install) + Assist with design projects from conception to installation, including client meetings, space planning, furniture and finish selection, sourcing, and purchasing furniture, lighting, fabric, and accessories + Assist in development of design schemes, floor plans and presentation boards ... Prepare proposals and correspond with clients on design intent and project progress + Maintain finish schedules, specifications, matrixes, and shop drawings + Project management ~ you will be overseeing the design and are responsible for coordinating with Project coordinators and delegating tasks accordingly + Create and maintain project budgets + Manage installation timeline + Oversee issues with contractors, vendors, and clients until a solution is found
