Interior Designer

Responsibilities: • Develop and draft plans, elevations, sections, and details as required to express interior design intent developed by the Project Architect-Lead Designer and/or Project Interior Designer based on knowledge of or research of appropriate products, materials, and building systems • Detail one or several aspects of components of the design project with limited or no direction • Coordinate notes and materials incorporated in details in order to coordinate drawings with specifications • Develop and follow through on interior design concepts laid out by the Project Architect-Lead Designer and/or Project Interior Designer • Produce interiors presentation documents to describe the design intent • Assist with design development and construction documentation production to the extent necessary to complete the project • Assist in the preparation of design, design development, or construction drawings including finish schedules and finish plans, reflected ceiling plans and millwork details • Interpret redlined changes to update drawings • Understand and apply the firm’s policy regarding client/project confidentiality and utilize judgment to maintain confidentiality of such information • Develop interior design concepts in conjunction with the Project Architect-Lead Designer • Select and specify fixtures, furnishing and equipment (FFE) compatible with the design intent We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
