INTERIOR DESIGNER

Working at LWDA LWDA is an established 30 person design firm, providing design services for a diverse Health Care, Senior Environments, Corporate, and High-Tech client base. We are seeking an experienced INTERIOR DESIGNER with 3+ years experience with a Bachelor of Interior Design degree who would like the opportunity to expand their design and technical skills, to join our team of multidisciplinary designers. • Knowledge base and core understanding of all aspects of the design process • Creating design concepts utilizing various methods including 3D renderings, sketches, spatial adjacency diagrams, and material/furniture boards • Researching and educating other team members on interior materials including the latest technologies in regards to sustainability, maintainability, and aesthetic trends • Creating furniture plans and specifications while working closely with vendors • Working directly with clients to realize and guide their vision • Coordinating and preparing design & construction documentation including interior elevations, reflected ceiling plans, and millwork details • Self managing time and responsibilities, and enjoys multi-tasking on a variety of project types • 3 or more years experience working in architectural office in interior design – required • Bachelor of Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited program • ArchiCAD or Revit proficient
