Interior designer

Assists the Interior Design Director with writing fee proposals for new projects.Works with clients to determine initial goals and requirements for the space to be designed, such as budget, architectural preferences, and purpose and function. Uses Revit and related software to produce construction documents.Creates sets of interior drawings with Revit that accurately and clearly describe the design intent, materials, and technical components of the design, including any necessary revisions during the bidding and construction process. Communicates and coordinates with product and material representatives.Oversees the installation of materials, furniture, and other design elements. Ability to apply a sense of style to create aesthetically pleasing interiors.Strong visual design skills including proportion and aesthetics. Some local and out-of-state travel may be required.Education and Experience : At least five years of experience in a commercial / architectural firm or related experience is preferred.
