Interior Designer

The primary purpose of this position will provide technical, administrative, and professional interior design services Responsibilities THIS IS NOT A VIRTUAL POSITION, YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN OR BE WILLING TO RELOCATE WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE OF THE DUTY LOCATION Duties will include, but may not be limited to the following: Plans, implements, manages, administers operates and supports interior design services and programs related to the operation and safety of the medical center. Qualifications SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Requires one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-9) in the Federal service that equipped me with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of this Interior Designer position to be filled. Education must include a major study in interior design or other field that included or was supplemented by at least 30 semester hours in interior design, interior architecture, or interior environmental design; or passage of the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) examination (NCIDQ Documentation Required). If you are using foreign education to meet qualification requirements, you must send a Certificate of Foreign Equivalency with your transcript in order to receive credit for that education.
