Interior Designer 3 (Full-Time) - Special Projects Department

Each Church facility that is built and/or maintained should 1) Provide a spiritual setting for members to worship, and 2) Present an image of reverence and dignity in the community. To lead and manage the design, development, specification, purchasing, and maintenance of interior design space planning and furnishing programs of complex worldwide Church facilities in order to enhance the function and quality of interior spaces; also to provide leadership, supervision, consultation, coordination, and training to in-house interior designers 1 and 2 and to facilities maintenance managers, purchasing agents, Church offices, architects, and others. by applying interior design experience, creative knowledge of space planning and interior design systems with given requirements from ecclesiastical leaders and design management staff and by using presentation skills to disseminate the design concept. From the IT professional who develops an app that sends the gospel message worldwide, to the facilities manager who maintains our buildings— giving Church members places to worship, teach, learn, and receive sacred ordinances—our employees seek innovative ways to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the world.
