Interior Designer 3 (Full-Time) - Special Projects Department

This position exists to serve priesthood leaders by providing temples, headquarters, and other facilities for their use to help bring souls unto CHRIST. This position helps provide and maintain facilities which give Church members places where they can worship, teach, learn, pray together, make and renew covenants, and receive sacred ordinances. Each Church facility that is built and/or... maintained should 1) Provide a spiritual setting for members to worship, and 2) Present an image of reverence and dignity in the community. To lead and manage the design, development, specification, purchasing, and maintenance of interior design space planning and furnishing programs of complex worldwide Church facilities in order to enhance the function and quality of interior spaces; also to provide leadership, supervision, consultation, coordination, and training to in-house interior designers 1 and 2 and to facilities maintenance managers, purchasing agents, Church offices, architects, and others
