Interior Designer

Inspired Spaces (https://inspiredspacesdesign.com/) is looking for an experienced Interior Designer with a positive attitude who seeks to jump aboard a flourishing design business, contribute to multiple commercial and residential projects, and work side by side with a cohesive, award-winning team. The Interior Designer’s role will include the following (but are not limited to): RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage multiple interior design projects simultaneously Participate in all phases of the projects, from conceptual drawings, to building, to furnishings Interface with clients to manage expectations and provide a professional client experience with weekly updates Manage multiple projects and ensure smooth production delivery from inception to closure Update and manage projects/tasks for yourself and your team using our software platform Participate in selection of furniture, finish specifications, managing submittals and procuring samples Create digital mood boards Create interior details, color selections, lighting design, tile layouts, space planning, furniture planning for all projects Sourcing/selection of fixtures and finishes Prepare design presentations including floor plans, graphics, material boards, construction details, millwork details, and specifications Provide project documentation for specifications and selections required for construction Liaison with vendors and showrooms to acquire pricing quotes and lead times Diligently track billable time and project budget Update and manage process documentation and develop additional organizational procedures for the office Attend our weekly team meeting, as well as a weekly check-in meeting with our principal REQUIREMENTS: Excellent customer service skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a positive attitude, and eye for detail are essential. Multi-tasking is essential.
