Ability to measure and draw job sites, as well as read architect plans, is required. We would love to connect if you: • Earned a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, or equivalent combination of education and experience and have • 5 years of Interior Design experience and CAD experience strongly preferred. • Are fluent in CAD-based programs and are able to design floor plans and elevations. Chief Architect and kitchen design is a plus.. • You have bathroom design experience, as well as tile design • Have access to a computer on which you utilize job-related software programs • Possess the ability to source product from our in-house list of vendors, particularly plumbing and lighting • Can accurately specify lighting and understand lighting technicals • Are skilled with reading specifications for appliances, lighting fixtures, etc • Have a car and insurance and are able to drive around Long Island, including the North Shore and occasionally the Hamptons • Can visit job sites • Work with contractors, vendors and other designers from inception to install.
