Interior Designer

**Job Description:** A fast-paced Real Estate Investment & Management Company is looking for a full-time Senior Interior Designer. This individual should have the ability to coordinate projects from concept design, design development, and design build to construction administration, project management, and FF&E; specifications. **Qualifications/ Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:** · 5-7 years of experience in interior design, architecture & construction · Experience with residential and commercial architecture, retail & hospitality · Experience in city planning, building, and permitting process to coordinating, consulting, and managing construction · Able to collaborate with artists, designers, and photographers on various projects from art directing to sales representation and management · Poses Strong Design Skills in both Residential & Commercial Design · Proficiency with Sketchup, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and MS Office · Knowledge of FF&E;, lighting, detailing and construction · Self- starter with ability to work independently and in a team setting · Ability to multi-task, prioritize project work load and time-sensitive tasks · Excellent organizational skills · Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy · Efficient project management skills · Balance of form, function and aesthetics · Produce and perform space planning, drafting, field verification and specifications of interior spaces · Specify materials and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, and plumbing fixtures · Create a timeline for the interior design project · Estimate project costs · Oversee installing the design elements · Strong communication skills · Current knowledge of resources and trends in design. · Ability to achieving high end looks without costs · Developing effective presentation boards · Developing project budgets · Standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, and ability to lift up to 25 lbs. · Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed.
