Interior Designer

Job Description: Interior Designer Required Skills / experience: • 3-5 years experience in the field with design experience • Interior Design BA/BFA • Proficiency in SketchUp mandatory • Adobe Creative Suite - Illustrator / Photoshop • Microsoft Office / Google Docs • Ability to communicate real time with clients and contractors with sketches • Excellent communication skills • Attentive to details, highly organized with the ability to multi-task • Motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment Responsibilities: • Collaborating with senior designer to decide creative direction for each project. Collecting relevant ideas and inspiration on a shared forum. • Producing 3D models in SketchUp of interior spaces and creating movies of the models for presentation purposes • Sourcing relevant FF and E to appoint designed spaces within budget • Working with senior designer to understand workload and job priorities • Producing bids and estimates for clients • Producing the Bill of Materials for each signed off design • Keeping detailed time records of hours spent on each project • Working closely from SketchUp model and Pinterest board to source relevant FF and E to appoint designed spaces within budget • Point person for clients during purchasing phase • Meet with clients to coordinate purchasing, purchasing on behalf of clients where necessary and coordinating deliveries to site Job Type: Full time, 9am-6pm with PTO Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience Required Education: BA / BFA Required Experience: Interior Design, 3-5 years Stripe Design Services is seeking a new team member.
