Interior Designer

This is a full-time on-site role for an interior designer at Manor House Kitchens North Hills Pittsburgh showroom. Primary role would be assisting the lead designer on current projects, to help ensure every project meets the standards of Manor House and customer expectations. The designer would be working with the design team with projects, through all stages of the design process.
Job Responsibilities:
• Assist lead designer with all aspects of design and lay-out of interior spaces
• Create project drawings, using 2020 design software, including floorplans, elevations, perspectives, and project details
• Typing and editing contract proposals, change orders, and other project paperwork
• Prepare presentation documents for client meetings, and installation processes, including material and fixture selections
• Responsible for preparing sales orders and documents needed for all materials and install services
• Helping with sourcing materials and finishes
• Speaking with clients and participating in client meetings, when necessary
• Working with other Manor House departments, including ordering, granite factory, installation and project managers
• Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
• Bachleor’s degree in interior design or related field, preferred
• Experience using 2020 design software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc..)
• Customer service skills are necessary
• Written and verbal communication skills are necessary
• Strong attention to detail
• Time management, organization, ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines set
• Ability and willing to work in a team environment and independently
