Interior Designer

TLCD Architecture is seeking a skilled and motivated Interior Designer with 5-10 years of experience and a strong interest in healthcare design. • Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and principals to develop design concepts and project documentation • Contribute to the design and documentation of healthcare and other projects • Develop program documentation, space planning, FF&E specification, material selection and documentation • Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors to integrate design with building systems • Help resolve technical and design-related issues in collaboration with project teams • Present design concepts, materials and layouts to project team and clients through verbal communication, electronic and hand drawing, mood boards and material samples • Develop furniture selections, specifications and budgets • Support and mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture • Participate in the construction administration of projects, review of submittals and RFIs • Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs • Work with regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives • Ability to apply accessibility codes, applicable building codes, and life-safety codes to a wide variety of project scopes and complexity • Compensation for this role (5-10 years of experience) is estimated to be between $70,000-$90,000 plus benefits, depending on relevant experience TLCD Architecture is the leading architecture and interior design firm in the North Bay with 60 years of experience modeled by our design excellence, diversity of work, and community enrichment.
