Interior Designer

This full-time position requires a highly motivated individual who can work effectively as either a team leader or a team member in the development of design and documentation for both new construction and renovation projects. The ideal candidate should also possess strong design and planning skills, have a thorough understanding of construction documents, be knowledgeable of the State of Connecticut Building Codes, and have experience with the design of projects within existing buildings. • NCIDQ certification preferred • Minimum 10 years of professional interior design experience (post-graduation), including documentation and construction administration experience. • Sound understanding of the interior design process, including programming, space planning, and design development, with a concentration on Corporate and Institutional design. The position requires occasional work in the field to confirm existing conditions and to observe construction progress.
