Interior Designer – Full-Time About Us Julie Kay Design Studio (JKDS) is a high-end, full-service interior design firm and retail studio located in Colorado Springs. We are a fast-growing, energetic team looking to add a talented designer who thrives in a collaborative, creative, and a client-focused environment. Key Responsibilities • Assist in executing full-service design projects from initial concept through installation • Create design concepts, mood boards, color palettes, furniture plans, elevations, and presentations • Source furniture, materials, finishes, lighting, accessories, and artwork • Prepare construction documents, cabinetry drawings, and specification sheets in Revit • Draft detailed presentations and client selections • Manage communication with vendors, trades, workrooms, and contractors • Attend and participate in client meetings, site visits, and walkthroughs • Assist in project management tasks, including tracking, scheduling, and quality control • Support studio merchandising, styling, events, and marketing content when needed • Uphold JKDS brand standards in all visuals, communication, and client interactions What We Offer • Competitive pay based on experience • Opportunity for growth within a rapidly expanding design studio • Collaborative, supportive team environment • Exposure to high-end design projects across Colorado and other states • Beautiful studio workplace with retail showroom • Creative freedom and the chance to make a big impact in a growing firm • Professional developmental learning experiences to grow as designers in industry and stay creatively active
