Interior Designer

We are looking for a creative and talented Interior Designer to add to our intimate team. Working primarily on residential projects the Interior Designer will be responsible for leading design efforts, while managing and mentoring more junior team members. Working closely with Principal, Kevin Sawyers, this position will have an important impact on project and company direction and decisions. Responsibilities: Run multiple Projects as Lead Designer through all phases of design with minimal oversight -Develop and coordinate detailed design concepts -Act as primary contact to client and vendors of projects -Source materials, finishes, and furnishings -Create and maintain project budgets and schedules -Attend weekly production meetings for team project review -Direct and mentor junior design team members -Coordinate with consultants to bring design concepts to realization -Respond and act on technical complications and design issues as they arise -Facilitate design management, execution, and follow through -Prepare reports, project documentation, and specifications -Analyze code and zone requirements and document reviews -Represent the company in a positive and professional light in all circumstances Qualifications: -5+ years related experience in Interiors -2+ years project managing residential design projects -Excellent attention to detail and organization -Clear and concise communication -Professionalism, patience, and leadership -Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD, and Sketch-Up -Familiarity in Studio Designer software a plus Compensation and Full-time Benefits: -Compensation will be commensurate with experience -Total of 22 paid days off which includes SF paid sick days -WFH Thursdays are being considered.
