The successful applicant will provide independent, timely, and professional Interior Design support, services, and consultation for the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of facilities for the Navy, Marine Corps, and other Supported Commands. Major Responsibilities: • Responsible for the preparation of detailed interior design solutions that meet functional and aesthetic requirements, development of plans using AutoCAD, interior finish and furniture specifications, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E;) packages, interior finish packages, and cost estimates in support of in-house and A/E design-bid-build and design- build projects for a wide range of projects. • Apply knowledge and skill to research and evaluate interior finish systems and FF&E; in the development of interior design projects and specifications. • The position requires professional knowledge of interior design concepts, principles, practices, and procedures.
