Salary: $55K to $75K The role requires someone equally comfortable with creative design and standard space planning. Responsibilities • Create attractive designs and layouts for various projects • Meet with client in order to understand the client's objectives and desires • Communicate effectively with client, vendors and team in order to address client's needs • Prepare presentations (3D, 2D,mock-ups and renderings) for clients • Create quotes for clients and ensure full workflow is followed • Sometimes reconfigure spaces as part of the workload; some projects are creative, some are standard space • Maintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevant Qualifications • Bachelors degree in Design (required) • 2+ years of commercial design experience (no residential-only backgrounds) • CET (Configura) experience • Experience in office furniture sales or knowledge of brands like HON/OFS • Highly detail-oriented (especially for spec audits) Nice to Have: • Dealer experience (highly preferred) • Project management or installation experience • GSA experience
