Interior Designer

Nataliya Borener Interiors is a residential interior design firm focused on creating organic, modern, + timeless interiors that are uplifting + functional. Our projects are primarily focused in Austin, New Braunfels, and San Antonio. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are in search of an Interior Designer to assist with our current project load, as well as take the lead on some new builds we have lined up. GENERAL INFO -Full Time - Compensation depending on experience -MUST BE CURRENTLY LOCATED IN THE Austin / San Marcos / New Braunfels area, + be willing to drive in weekly to New Braunfels + Austin to for work meetings + site visits -Farther travel may be required on occasion for trade shows, sourcing trips, or project site visits RESPONSIBILITIES -Assist principal designer with design + management of projects all phases of design -Fully manage your own design projects, client meetings, + task list -Keep detailed meeting notes, task lists, + calendars for multiple projects -Create design concept boards for client presentations -Create furniture plans, detail drawings, 3D models, and renderings in SketchUp -Research new sources, vendors, design trends + update office resource library -Enter in project data, specifications + keep back end office files digitally organized -Assist with preparation of client presentations + proposals -Place orders, track open orders, + schedule deliveries -Communicate with clients, vendors, + builders/contractors -Assist with installations + deliveries QUALIFICATIONS + SKILLS NEEDED -A minimum of 2 years previous work experience in an interior design firm and/or for a builder is required -Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design is preferred -Knowledge of SketchUp is preferred -Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) Google Drive/Doc/Sheets -Detail-oriented with a passion for procedures, organization, + efficiency -Strong written + oral communication skills -Self-motivated with strong work ethic; must be willing to do tasks large + small with a positive attitude -Self-managed; must be able to work independently + stay on top of deadlines with little supervision -Flexible, dependable, + service oriented -Ability to juggle many tasks + projects at once, as well as shift focus from one project to another -Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs for installs + deliveries We value flexibility in work environment.
