Interior Designer

Our integrated model means design and construction operate as one team — and the person in this role sits at the center of that. This is not a decorating role. Design Leadership & Technical Documentation • Own the design process from space planning and schematic design through complete architectural drawing sets ready for engineering coordination • Produce full architectural drawing sets in Chief Architect — floor plans, elevations, sections, interior elevations, construction details, and millwork drawings • Coordinate with the structural engineer to ensure drawings are complete, dimensioned, and documented to support the engineering review process • Integrate engineering drawings back into the architectural set once returned • Develop detailed finish schedules and project specifications • Set documentation standards and drawing conventions for the design team Required • 2–4 years of professional experience in residential design, architecture, or a design-build environment • Demonstrated proficiency in Chief Architect — this is a firm requirement; your portfolio must include Chief Architect work • Proven experience producing complete architectural drawing sets: floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details • Hands-on experience building and managing FF&E packages and full selections programs • Solid understanding of residential construction methods, materials, and sequencing • Familiarity with Florida Building Code or comparable residential code experience • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously What We're Looking For • A designer who takes ownership and doesn't need to be managed • A portfolio that demonstrates both technical range (real drawing sets, real details) and selections depth (FF&E packages, finish boards, client-ready presentations) • Clear, confident communication with clients, contractors, and ownership • Someone who understands that good design only works if it translates cleanly to the field
