Interior Designer

Interiors by Jen Davidson is a full-service residential interior design studio based on Chicago’s North Shore, serving clients locally and nationwide. Assist with the development of design concepts, mood boards, and client presentations Create and maintain design drawings including floor plans, elevations, and models Build and update project models using SketchUp or similar software Research and source furniture, finishes, fabrics, lighting, and materials Prepare specifications and design documentation Assist with space planning and furniture layouts Support preparation for client meetings and design presentations Coordinate with vendors and showrooms for samples and product information Attend site visits and assist during installation days Maintain the studio sample library and support overall project organization Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field 4–5 years of professional interior design experience Strong drawing and technical documentation skills Proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) Understanding of residential design principles, materials, and space planning Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a studio environment Portfolio demonstrating residential design work and technical drawings required Work Location: In person
