Interior Designer

ARCO/Murray National Construction is seeking a highly motivated Interior Designer who is passionate about the design/build construction process to join our in-house design team. Responsible for all aspects of interior design, ranging from concept design to development.Conduct code research, test fits, and preliminary space plans, including 3D axonometric views.Prepare and lead programming and presentation calls with clientsWork closely with clients and Project Managers to develop schematic and design development level drawingsConduct code study, zoning, life safety, occupancy, and plumbing requirementsCreate 3d views, renders, and interior fly-thru videos for clientsCoordinate design cost with in-house construction PMs to ensure selections are within budgetCommunicate with MEP and other trades to coordinate design intent and avoid clashesBe a problem solver for all things design-related and assist PMs in bringing the client’s vision to lifeOrganize, plan, and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously to accomplish desired resultsCommit to quality by self-reviewing work and ensuring it meets professional and team standardsAct in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and other associates, while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectationsHelp build the team’s capabilities.
