JD Interiors is seeking a talented, experienced, and highly organized Lead Interior Designer to join our growing residential interior design studio based in Arroyo Grande, California. Responsibilities Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related fieldProfessional experience in residential interior design, renovation, or new-construction projectsStrong design-development, space-planning, and visual presentation skillsAbility to independently lead projects and confidently communicate with clientsStrong understanding of floor plans, elevations, measurements, cabinetry, materials, and construction documentationExcellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skillsProfessional written and verbal communicationAbility to manage multiple active projects and shifting prioritiesProficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting softwareExperience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or comparable presentation softwareExperience with SketchUp or other 3D modeling and rendering software is strongly preferredFamiliarity with furniture, lighting, materials, finishes, fixtures, and residential product sourcingAbility to attend client meetings and site visits throughout San Luis Obispo CountyReliable transportationComfortable working independently while collaborating closely with the principal designer and a growing teamWillingness to take initiative, accept feedback, and grow into additional leadership responsibilities as the firm expandsPay: $40.00 - $75.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceApplication Question(s):
