Position Title: Interior Designer

Location: Rockville Centre, NY (Hybrid / 3 Days In-Studio)

Danielle Rose Design Co. is a high end residential interior design studio creating warm, layered, luxury homes across Long Island and the Tri-State. We’re nationally recognized with press features in AD/WSJ – known for our thoughtful details, beautiful materials, and spaces that feel deeply personal.

Who You Are

Seasoned designer (residential preferred) with a refined, elevated eye and strong creative + technical foundationThrives in a boutique, collaborative studio where details matter and teamwork is everythingConfident, clear leader who can guide projects from early vision through installation while delivering an exceptional client + team experience

Key Responsibilities

Lead full-scope residential projects end-to-end, owning creative direction, design execution, and day-to-day decision-makingDevelop elevated, layered concepts (FF&E, finishes, lighting, custom details) and oversee technical documentation, millwork, and construction-level design intentServe as the primary client + contractor design lead, mentoring junior designers, partnering with Ops on budgets/timelines, and supporting site visits through install

Experience & Skills

5+ years high-end residential experience with proven ability to own projects from vision through installationStrong technical expertise in AutoCAD, construction documentation, detailing, millwork, and interior architecture. – Experience with Studio Designer strongly preferred.Elevated, layered portfolio plus excellent communication, calm leadership, and comfort managing multiple projects + local travel across Long Island and NYC RegionReliable vehicle and/or ability to travel locally for site visits across Long Island and nearby is required.
