Interior Designer

Based primarily in Naples, Italy, the selected candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to develop functional, aesthetically appropriate, and code-compliant interior design solutions. This role requires regular travel to Bahrain, occasionally operating in austere environments to assess and support damaged facilities. Provide professional interior design support for the planning, design, renovation, and construction of Government facilities.Prepare and review interior design drawings, finish schedules, furniture layouts, material selections, and design documentation.Develop interior design concepts that support project requirements, functionality, and applicable codes and standards.Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers, and Government stakeholders throughout all phases of project execution.Review design documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable building codes and accessibility standards.Provide technical recommendations and design support during planning, design, construction, and project close-out activities. Required Qualifications The position requires frequent Temporary Duty (TDY) travel to NSA Bahrain, Kingdom of Bahrain, including NSA 1, NSA 2, NSA 3, and Isa Air Base.
