Interior Designer

The Interior Designer will contribute to the planning, design, and documentation of interior environments in support of architectural and engineering projects. This role collaborates closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and clients to deliver functional, code‑compliant, and aesthetically refined interior solutions across a variety of project types, but primarily Hospitality projects. The ideal candidate demonstrates technical proficiency, design creativity, strong collaboration skills, and holds NCIDQ certification. Develop interior design concepts, space plans, and finish selections aligned with project goals and client needsPrepare presentation materials including renderings, mood boards, and design narrativesAssist with programming and space planning during early project phasesProduce interior design construction documents including plans, elevations, details, and specificationsCoordinate interior design elements with architectural, structural, and MEP systemsEnsure compliance with applicable codes, accessibility standards, and firm design criteriaCollaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants throughout all phases of a projectCoordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and consultants while maintaining the material libraryParticipate in internal coordination meetings and client presentationsRespond to RFIs and submittals related to interior design componentsAssist with construction administration tasks, site visits, and project closeout activities Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited programNCIDQ Certification7+ years of professional experience in a design firmProficiency in Revit; working knowledge of AutoCADStrong understanding of building systems, materials, finishes, and detailingExcellent communication, organization, and time management skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with strong attention to detailCollaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills
