Naturwood Home Furnishings is a family-owned business that has served the Sacramento area for over 77 years. We’re looking for a career-minded, outgoing interior design professional who enjoys working with people and has a passion for creating beautiful spaces.

Interior Designer Sales Consultant – Full-Time

As part of our sales and design team, you’ll work directly with clients to understand their needs, recommend furniture and design solutions, and help bring their vision to life. This position combines interior design, relationship-building, and commissioned furniture sales.

What You’ll Do

Welcome and work with customers and designers in our showroom
Recommend furniture and product options based on style, needs, and budget
Research products and availability and follow up with prospective clients
Visit clients’ homes to take measurements, make design recommendations, and assist with furniture placement
Create 3D renderings and design presentations
Build lasting client relationships while meeting sales goals

What We’re Looking For

Interior design experience, sales experience, and/or related education
Intermediate computer skills. SketchUp experience preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills
Professional, outgoing, confident, and motivated
Attention to detail
Comfortable working in a commissioned sales environment
Ability to meet and exceed sales goals
Availability to work full-time, including weekends and holidays
