Interior Designer

VMDO Architects is seeking a creative problem-solver to join our Charlottesville office as a Junior Interior Designer. This position will work under the direct supervision of an experienced Lead Interior Designer and is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Generating design and construction models using Revit and Sketch up
Assisting in development of studies, visualizations, presentations, and reports
Incorporating sustainable design research and solutions into projects
Working closely with design teams and consultants to ensure coordinated and constructible designs

Qualifications

1-3 years of professional experience in the field
A degree in Interior Design or Architecture (Bachelors or Masters)
Familiarity with Revit or Sketch Up
Preferred candidates will have or be working toward NCIDQ certification.
