Our firm is interested in hiring an Interior Designer & Project Consultant to work in our Denver office. The Interior Designer & Project Consultant will work alongside other designers, architects, and construction planners to develop inspired projects from inception to construction completion. The successful candidate will be able to develop relationships with homeowners and guide them through a design process that produces inspired spaces and improves the quality of their lives. Job Duties: Establish creative direction on architectural projects Establish creative direction on interior design projects Assume a leadership role on projects and guide clients through the Schematic ... Design Development- Design processes Create or oversee the creation of presentation materials for all Design presentations Maintain Core Value Culture in the Design Team Conduct Code Studies and publish a Code Study Report to the Design Team on all architectural projects Manage and specify all energy code compliance strategies Manage and navigate all permitting processes with the jurisdictions of our work areas Manage the cover sheet of all architectural projects Develop all architectural details Specify all architectural materials Specify all window and doors Develop all interior design details Specify all interior design materials Research and implement the usage of new materials and methods Maintain and enhance the architectural materials catalog and samples library Negotiate with and hire all outside consultant participation in the Design Process Manage all outside consultants to the milestones and deadlines of the Design Schedule Provide modeling & drafting support as needed Provide guidance and training to less experienced design staff Job Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's or Associates degree in interior design, architecture, or related field Proficiency in Revit, MS Office (PowerPoint & Excel) required CIDQ, NKBD, LEED preferred 5 years relevant interior design experience In-depth knowledge of cabinets and storage systems - 2020 experience preferred In-depth knowledge of finishes Demonstratable knowledge of space planning principles Demonstratable knowledge of industry resources Able to develop and present design concepts Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.
