Summary Duties • **THIS IS NOT A VIRTUAL POSITION, YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN OR BE WILLING TO RELOCATE WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE OF THE DUTY LOCATION***Major duties include, but are not limited to: • Provides expert advice to customers on the selection and design of essential items of equipment and furnishings to ensure maximum durability for longevity, aesthetic value, life expectancy, functional space arrangements, flow planning, etc. • Establishes and maintains extensive, up-to-date design resource library to include current samples of construction materials, furnishings, equipment, product literature and GSA contracts and schedules. • Prepares complete interior design drawings in compliance with agency criteria and needs of the project including floor plans, interior elevations, section details, perspectives and finishes. • Evaluates and/or recommends work to ensure interior design excellence and compliance with regulations and design criteria.
