Interior Designer

We’re looking for an experienced Designer to join our team. Must have 3-5+ years of residential design experience at a high end firm... Opportunity is for 40+ hours/week working in our office located near the Boston Design Center. Job Responsibilities • Execution of all stages of the design process including programming, space planning, schematic design, presentation, pricing and proposal development, and installation • Creation of floor plans and elevations, fabric and material schemes, and furniture and lighting selections • Management of 3-5 projects • Responsive and professional communication with clients via email, phone calls and during client presentations and site meetings • Collaboration with architects, contractors, subcontractors and vendors • Review of construction documents, shop drawings and reflected ceiling plans • Vendor communication to initiate design details and pricing of custom upholstery, furniture, finishes, and accessories • Oversee project installations locally and long distance • Clear and efficient communication with principal and project manager • Willingness and work ethic to initiate tasks and perform duties with little supervision and flexibility to help with whatever is needed • Time management and multitasking in a fast paced environment
