• Team with selling team to promote the In-Home Design program and drive overall store sales • Maintain strong knowledge of features and benefits of existing and new product line • Customer Experience Excellence People Development • Train, coach and develop Design Associates on product knowledge and selling skills to achieve store sales goals • Assist with training, coaching and developing the selling team • Leads with the highest ethical standards and demands the same from their teams $20 an hour training pay (no commission) first 3-4 weeks, after training $26,000 per year paid bi weekly plus commission • 3.5% of Net Written Design Sales and 2% on entered written sales other than LaZBoy Design sales. In-Home Design: • Schedule professional home consultations to present customized room designs, including sample fabrics, furniture, tables and accessory recommendations as well as the benefits of a professional installation service • Execute and champion the In-Home Design process per company guidelines • Responsible for creating grassroots opportunities to increase the overall performance of the In-Home Design Program • Accurately complete order information, collect deposits and fees, keep orderly customer records, and research customer payments and deliveries • Responsible to support design related functions in the store and maintain an up to date customized portfolio including before and after pictures of previous In-Home design projects. • Adhere to general store operational procedures and guidelines • May be responsible for opening and closing of the store • Champion and role model the La-Z-Boy selling process (Comfort Process) by overseeing the interaction with each and every client within the furniture gallery • Know what is happening on the floor at all times.
