We welcome Registered Interior Designer candidates who are eager to take on the following responsibilities and possess the skills and credentials listed below: Responsibilities: • Works in a collaborative team environment, leading the development of the projects building program and interior design, including furnishings, color and material palettes, and preparing project documentation appropriate to each phase • Prepares presentation materials, including renderings, to communicate design ideas and guide our clients through the design process, bringing well-considered options to them for review and timely decision-making • Researches and assesses manufacturers materials and systems • Understands the technical implications of design decisions and contributes to the development and documentation of a practical, buildable design that is coordinated with architecture and engineering systems • Represents the firm well in project meetings and industry events and continues to build a professional network of clients, consultants, and peers • Leads and mentors less-experienced staff • Assists in business development and marketing efforts Skills and Credentials: • 8-12 years of experience • Dynamic, creative, and detail-oriented • Well-organized and able to work collaboratively in a team environment • Strong communication and presentation skills and a creative design aptitude • Very proficient in Revit Architecture with experience in both preliminary design and construction drawings documentation • Proficient in 3-D modeling and rendering in 3-D modeling software • Professional degree in interior design from an accredited program • LEED or WELL Building Design accreditation, or on the path to accreditation, preferred • Interior Design licensure preferred or on the path to licensure within one year.
